DarkTrafficIQ Account Deletion

Option 1 — Delete in the App (Recommended)

1. Open DarkTrafficIQ app on iPhone or Android
2. Sign in with credentials
3. Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account
4. Re-enter password for confirmation
5. Receive email confirming scheduled deletion

Option 2 — Request Deletion by Email

Email deletion requests from your registered address to support@trafficiq.ai with subject line “DarkTrafficIQ Account Deletion Request.” Identity verification occurs via 6-digit code sent to that email.

60-Day Grace Period

Upon deletion request:

• Account marked for deletion; sessions revoked immediately
• 60-day window to cancel deletion by signing in and confirming a 6-digit email code
• Account hidden from normal app functions; no risk alerts sent
• Automatic deletion proceeds if not cancelled within the period

What We Delete

Following the grace period, these are removed from active systems:

• Email, password hash, profile, account preferences
• Apple Sign-In identifier
• Added phone numbers
• Call Detail Record history and risk events
• Push-notification tokens and devices
• Active sessions and login records
• Subscription entitlements (Apple/Google retain purchase records)

Encrypted backups are purged per standard rotation (typically 35 days post-deletion).

What We May Retain

Limited retention is permitted for legal and business purposes:

• Financial and tax records related to subscription purchases, for the period required by tax law (typically up to 7 years)
• Abuse/fraud-prevention hashed identifiers
• Aggregated, de-identified data
• Court-ordered legal-hold data

Cancel an Active Subscription

Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions. Manual cancellation is required:

• iOS:Settings → [name] → Subscriptions → DarkTrafficIQ → Cancel
• Android:Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DarkTrafficIQ → Cancel
